Abu Dhabi anticipates GDP increase by 2018


(MENAFN) Senior representatives of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development stated on Monday Oct 2nd, Abu Dhabi is expecting 3.16% increase in GDP by 2018 as the private sector has a big role in this major growth.The state is expecting to have a GDP growth in 2018 by 3.16% and the non-oil growth can be 3.77%, according to acting chief executive Ahmad Bin Ganem without referring to the current year stats.In an event organized by Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bin Ganem spoke about the great participation of the private sector in the economic growth, furthermore, the acting undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; Khalifa Bin Salem Al Mansouri said in the same event that the economic development is recovering and showing positive signs towards growth.
