Morocco- Casablanca to Host 1st 'Africa Private Wealth' Forum October 4-5

(MENAFN - Morocco World News) Rabat – Morocco's economic capital, Casablanca, will hold the first edition of the October 4 and 5 at the Sheraton Casablanca Hotel & Towers.

The forum will gather business leaders and wealth advisers from inside and outside Morocco to discuss the economy, banking management, investing in real estate, and international taxation. The event will feature presentations delivered by a range of high-profile speakers from both the public and private sectors.

They explained that attendees will be provided with the opportunity to get deep insights into the origin and distribution of private wealth in Africa and tips on how to develop an efficient entry strategy to the world's fastest-growing market for private wealth management solutions. The event's panel discussions will be divided into different sections during the two-day period of the forum. The Forum's Agenda The first discussion will be under the theme "Private Wealth Management in Africa – An update."

Panelists will discuss ways to help develop the African market and will outline the private banking landscape in Africa and Morocco in particular. The second portion of the discussion, 'A Global Citizen in Changing World' will feature two representatives from the international business firm Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates. The panelists will discuss economic citizenship trends by giving a general market overview. The firm's partners will also cover 'Dual Citizenship in the 21st Century' and 'Challenges for Family Offices'. The third panel discussion of the first day, "Trends in Taxation and International Information' Exchange" will see taxation experts Maxim Simonov, Head of Tax at Duvernoix Legal, and James Lasry, partner at Hassans International Law Firm, exchange information about crossborder taxation, residency rules, and foreign accounts of African high-net-worth individuals (HNWIS).

Afterwards, a discussion will be held under the theme "Family Offices: Challenges and Opportunities." This section will focus on wealth management, connections between family offices and banks, cyber threats for HNIWs and family offices. The second day's agenda consists of five sections, covering various topics in global business and finance, as well as highlighting Morocco as a business leader in Africa and across the world.

Convening under the theme "International Integration of the Moroccan Financial Market,' Moroccan experts, including Badr Benyoussef, Chief Business Development Officer at Casablanca's Stock Exchange, will discuss the , access to international capital markets, and the banking landscape in Morocco. The event will also include a roundtable meeting on 'Islamic Finance', in which experts from different Gulf countries, including Shaykh Haytham Tamim, CEO at Shariah Solutions LTD, will discuss Islamic banking solutions for financial projects conducted in accordance with Sharia law. Legal aspects of project structuring and tax aspects of private equity investments will be also covered during presentation by Asma Alaoui, CEO at Africa Key partners. In the final presentation of the day, financial experts, including Laila Slassi, Managing Partner at Afrique Advisors, will discuss investment opportunities in Africa and international real estate.
