Qatar- Transport Minister attends BALTEXPO in Poland

Poland: Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti took part in the 19th International Exhibition and Conferences BALTEXPO 2017, being held on September 11-13, in Gdańsk, Poland.
Addressing the opening ceremony, the Minister highlighted the key role the marine transport sector plays in world trade. On the sidelines of the event, the Minister and Poland's Minister of Marine Economy and Inland Waterways Marek Gróbarczyk, and in the presence of Ahmed bin Saif Al Mu'adadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Poland, witnessed the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between Qatar Ports Management Company (MWANI Qatar) and the Port of Gdansk Authority.
The agreement aims to promote mutually beneficial partnership and cooperation in the maritime business between the two countries and in maintaining close bilateral relations in maritime business.
The memorandum was signed by Captain Abdulla Al Khanji, CEO of MWANI Qatar, and Lukasz Greinke, President of the Board and Managing Director, Port of Gdansk Authority.
BALTEXPO gathers approximately 300 companies from 14 countries and is expected to welcome more than 4,000 visitors.
It is the biggest and the oldest event in Poland among economic events related to broadly understood marine economy: shipbuilding industry and its related parties, ports and logistics associated to the use of the maritime and inland waterways transportation and the security of coasts, ports and navigation.
