(MENAFN) Panasonic, one of the global pioneers in tech, has increased its presence in the MENA region with the opening of the first TV producing unit in Egypt.
Furthermore, the Japanese producer is cooperating with Arab Co. for Elect Equipment in order to produce more than 16.000 Panasonic LED televisions.
Meanwhile, the Planning Ministry of Egypt has set an annual increase target of 9 percent from manufacturing, growing its share of GDP to 25 percent by 2020.
In addition, the 50.000 square yard facility is located at Mostorod, Cairo and was inaugurated by Dizo Ito.
