Interpol Warrant to Extradite Jordan's Corrupt Fugitive Kurdi

AMMAN —AlGhad— The government announced today, Tuesday, that the legal procedures to extradite convicted former director of the Phosphate Company, Walid Kurdi, have been set in motion to retrieve the corrupt fugitive and bring him to justice.

Notably, the procedure begins with the issuance of an Interpol warrant to extradite and arrest Kurdi, sentenced in absentia.

The Cabinet assigned the task to the Minister of Justice, Dr Awad Abu Jarad, to follow up on the progress of the task.
