Sudan, Libya to normalize relations, protect borders


(MENAFN) Sudan and Libya have confirmed to normalize their tense ties and secure mutual border, while Sudanese President expressed help for the globally Libyan government.

However, the Sudanese leader rejected any agenda in Libya and proclaimed: "Our first, second and final priorities are the interests of the Libyan nation."

In addition, the presence of the Sudanese mercenaries amid the fighters in Libya was a direct threat to the Sudanese security.

Accordingly, Libya agreed to fully normalize ties, adding that previous deals for a full integration between both nations would be installed.
