Amman, Aug. 27 (Petra) -- The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces/ Royal Air Force, Sunday, dispatched a humanitarian aid plane to Yemen due to the conditions experienced in the war torn-country.

Upon royal directives, the plane, carrying 15 tons of humanitarian assistance, flew to Yemen with a JHCO delegation onboard to deliver the desperately needed relief supplies in coordination with King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, said JHCO advisor Rajab Zubaydah.

Yemini Ambassador in Amman, Ali Amrany, lauded the substantial help and good gesture of His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing the aid comes to alleviate the suffering of the Yemini people.

" The Jordanian-Yemeni relations are strong under the leadership of Yemen's President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and His Majesty King Abdullah II", added the envoy, pointing out the mutual respect between the peoples of the two countries.

In 2015, the JHCO sent two cargo planes carrying more than 30 tons of food and medical relief in continuation of its efforts to lend a helping hand and stand with the affected countries and people.
