Kuwait- 2 probed in secret report leak


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: A senior security official and an Iranian journalist have been referred for interrogation following the publication of a confidential report considered top secret by the Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Rai daily.

This happened following intensive investigations conducted by the Ministry following the leakage of a confidential document to the media.

The investigation was carried out upon orders of the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah to punish those involved. A security source said during investigations it was revealed that a senior security officer instructed one of the officers to leak a copy of a secret document to the media.
