More than 170 civilians killed in Raqqa by U.S.-led strikes

(MENAFN) Up to 170 civilians have been murdered by U.S. led strikes on IS States in Raqqa city, a spike in casualties since an offensive to oust the militants started more than two months ago.

Accordingly, attacks on militant aims were conducted routinely and the allegation had been sent to their teams for assessment.

Furthermore, at least 42 people, involving 19 children and 12 women, were killed in strikes that destroyed buildings where families were hiding.

In addition, the single largest daily death toll was since the U.S.-backed Syria Democratic Forces started their attack on Raqaa last June after a long campaign to isolate IS State inside the city.
