The website of the Lusail newspaper, part of Dar Al Sharq Group, was hacked yesterday morning by UAE hackers and wrote the phrases ‘UAE hackers were here' on the website. To prevent further damage, Lusail newspaper stopped the website to protect its contents and took measures to increase the security of its website.
Mohamed Haji, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lusail, said that 'the attempt to hack the website of Lusail will not stop the newspaper to continue publish truth, whether related to the siege countries or not.
'I think the reason behind this hacking was that we have published about the financial state of these countries, they didn't like it and tried to hack to the website.
