Oman takes part in Arab Judicial Inspection Bodies conference


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The sultanate, represented by the Administrative Affairs Council for Judiciary, is taking part in the 21st Conference for the Heads of the Arab Judicial Inspection Bodies, being held in Beirut, Lebanon till July 12.

The conference is discussing a number of themes including the proposed mechanism for judicial inspection control on the alternate methods for judiciary before the litigation state.

It is also discussing inspections in the Arab countries with regard to the relationship with the supreme court.

The sultanate's delegation will present two working papers on 'The reality and horizon of computerising the judicial inspection work in the sultanate' and 'Enhancing confidence between judges and judicial inspection, future and reality'.

The delegation, being led by Dr Mohammed bin Abdullah al Hashmi, Supreme Court judge and chairman of the Public Administration for Judicial Inspection, includes Dr Hilal bin Mohammed al Rashdi, member of the judicial inspection, and Said bin Mohammed al Sharji, director of the Primary Court in Bidbid.
