Morocco- Moroccans Protest Lack of Emergency Care After Child Dies Outside Hospital



(MENAFN - Morocco World News) Rabat – Dozens of residents of Ain Taoujdate, near Meknes, have taken to the streets after a 12-year-old child died due to the absence of the emergency services in the local hospital.

The child who had suffered an electric shock, died at the door of the town's hospital, which reportedly closes at 4 p.m.

The incident prompted the town's population to gather outside the hospital as a show of protest against the absence of proper medical services in the town.

During the deceased's funeral on Thursday, protesters staged a demonstration, chanting slogans, accusing the hospital officials of fatal %E2%80%9Cnegligence.%E2%80%9D
