Morocco FDI inflows down 34.9pct in Jan-July 2016




(MENAFN) Foreign direct investments (FDI) in Morocco stood at 12.3bn dirhams in the Jan-July period of this year, a decline of 34.9 percent year-on-year.

The decline is attributed to drop in revenues by 17.5 percent and an increase of expenditure by 49.2 percent.

On the other hand, profits from Moroccans living abroad grew by 2.3 percent, reaching 34.9bn dirhams this year compared to 34.1bn dirhams in 2015.
