Morocco- Moroccan Police Dismantle ISIS-Linked Terrorist Cell

(MENAFN - Morocco World News) The Central Bureau for Judiciary Investigations (BCIJ), under the General Directorate for National Territory Surveillance, disbanded, on Tuesday, a terrorist cell composed of four extremist members operating in Casablanca and the Mograne rural commune in the Kenitra province, said the Interior Ministry in a statement.

The preliminary investigations showed that the cell members, who swore allegiance to the so-called emir of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS), adhered to dangerous terrorist projects targeting the Kingdom's stability and security, by planning operations against vital sites in Casablanca, in accordance with the agenda of this terrorist organization, the same source said.

The suspects will be brought to justice after the completion of the probe led under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
