The memo also urged the troops to administer a 'threat assessment' on large resorts if they intend to spend their summer vacations at them. A former soldier stated in an interview with the Sunday Times, 'It's terrible that troops who put their lives on the line in the most dangerous war zones cannot relax on a beach in the Costas.' The British Army personnel were notified that certain countries represent a greater threat to their lives than others.
