Qatar Red Crescent Society to operate Al Thawra Hospital in Taiz

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Riyadh: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) pledged to support and operate Al Thawra Hospital in Taiz, said Yemeni Minister for Local Administration and Chairman of Higher Committee for Relief Abdalrguib Fath.

In a statement to Yemen News Agency, he said the Qatari side has pledged support to the health sector through QRCS whose officials affirmed readiness to run the hospital for one year and provide it with all equipment and aid to alleviate the suffering of the sick people in Taiz.

He hailed Qatar";s support to the Yemen government during the difficult conditions due to the targeting of the health sector in the besieged province of Taiz by the Houthi and coup militias, reports QNA
