Qatar- Traffic diversion on part of Al Shamal Road from tomorrow

Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close the north-bound traffic on Al Shamal Road, starting 800 metres to the South of Al Kharaitiyat Interchange (N8) extending to 700 metres to the north of Al Kheesa Interchange (N10).

Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road which will become a two-way street. The diversion of about 4km long starts tomorrow and lasts until October-end.

Two to three lanes will be open for traffic in each direction on this part of the road until works are completed.

Ashghal will install signs advising motorists of the diversion and has urged road users to abide by speed limits and follow signs for safety.
