Educational Consultant, Michele Frazier, Agrees With Letting More Parents Into Schools To Discipline Their Children

(MENAFNEditorial) Earlier this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a well known and respected educational consultant by the name of Michele Frazier agreed to letting parents into the classroom to discipline their unruly children. The reason for this decision is because students in the school have been rebelling and acting aggressively to the staff.

Ms. Frazier, with more than 20 years of experience in the educational service, has said that there would be no problem if parents came into her classroom to set the child straight.

“I don’t have any problem with children in my class, but what happens in another class does affect the school because we are all a piece of a larger unit. It’s a teacher’s job to discipline anymore in this day and age and I believe students know this. That’s why some of them believe they can get aggressive with some of the staff.” said Ms. Frazier.

Another reason why parental guardians are being allowed to come into their child''s classroom is because studies also find that having children being accompanied by their parents has a major impact on their grades and studies. The quality of work put in backed by a genuine effort, according to the recent study, shows that the end result of the work completed is greater with a parent in the classroom than it is when compared to the quality of the work completed without the parent present.

“Parents will always have more influence over their children than a teacher or a mentor. Although these children feel like mine, I know my place with them as an educator,” said Ms. Frazier.

While many states within the U.S. are further questioning the idea of allowing parents into classrooms, the results answer the questions themselves and it is believed more parents will love the idea of being with their children throughout the day.
