UAE Ambassador to India attends Women Economic Forum in New Delhi

NEW DELHI, 17th May, 2016 (WAM) -- Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Bana, UAE Ambassador to India, has attended the Women Economic Forum, WEF, which is being held from 16th to 21st May in New Delhi under the theme, "Women: Uplifting and Uniting The World".

The WEF Forum, which is organised by the ALL Ladies League at the Pullman-Novotel Hotel, New Delhi, sees the participation of 1,500 women from 75 countries, the largest such gathering of diverse women from all over the world. The forum aims to strengthen economic presence and leadership skills for women in business.

In a speech on the occasion, Mr. Al Bana stressed the importance of participating in the event, as it is a vital platform to show the growing importance of economic and cultural relations between the two countries and the interest shown by the two governments to achieve it.

The forum was also attended by Dr. Sheikha Hessa Saad Al Sabah, President of the Arab Businesswomen Council.
