US-Saudi Relations 3 Riyadh

The history of US-Saudi relations have had many important stations which are considered as a key factor in supporting the relations between the two countries including the visit paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on April 11 2012 to the United States - when he was then Crown Prince Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense at an invitation from former US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta during which he met US President Barack Obama and discussed the strengthening of relations between the two countries especially in the joint military and strategy area.
On January 27 2015 President Obama accompanied by high-level delegation had paid a visit to the Kingdom to offer condolences on the death of the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during which he held talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.
