Riyadh Jumada II 18 1437 Mar 27 2016 SPA -- Agricultural Cooperation Committee of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States held here today its 27th meeting under the Chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli Chairman of the Committee's Current Session in the presence of Ministers responsible for Agriculture Affairs in the GCC Member States with the participation of the Council's Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
At the beginning of the meeting Engineer Al-Fadhli delivered a speech in which he welcomed the participants and expressed his wishes for a successful meeting to come up with constructive recommendations to support and promote the joint action march in the agricultural development of the GCC member countries.
For his part Dr. Al-Zayani stressed in his speech that food security in the GCC enjoys attention of the leaders of the GCC states realizing that ensuring food security is a fundamental element in providing a secure stable prosperous and sustainable environment for the GCC citizens.
