Royal Oman Police news: 3 held with cannabis chewing tobacco

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

A large quantity of cannabis 572 bags of chewing tobacco and 19 packs of a banned tobacco product have been seized in Sohar by officials from the Criminal Investigation Department of North Batinah Police Command.

Three persons including an expat working in a tobacco store have also been arrested in this connection. The three have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Six arrested for Buraimi thefts

A source in the Buraimi Police Command has said that six persons were arrested for their involvement in ten cases of thefts in the governorate.

The accused had targeted six shops three homes and one farm. They have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Coast Guard nabs three with alcohol seizes their boat

The Coast Guard has arrested three Asian nationals and impounded their boat carrying alcohol. The seizure took place off the coast of Musandam. Eighty-four bottles of liquor were seized in the operation.

In a separate case two Asians were arrested from a boat off Musandam coast with narcotics. Three others were arrested in a separate operation by Musandam Police Command for trying to end the country illegally.
