Saudi- Makkah Governor Reviews Public Transport Project Stages


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Makkah Rabi'II 14 1437 Jan 24 2016 SPA -- Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee supervising the public transport by trains and buses in the region has reviewed the stages reached by public transport project in Makkah.
This came during the meeting which was chaired here today by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
According to the presentation on which he was briefed the project with an estimated total cost of about 62 billion riyals will be implemented in several stages including a rail network composed of four lines with a total length of 114 kilometers.
It is expected that the project will provide 39000 job opportunities over the next ten years.
