(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ALGIERS Jan 12 (KUNA) -- Seven suspected terrorists were arrested and a significant cache of ammunition was seized southern the Algerian capital defense ministry announced Tuesday.The cache included AK-47s and other rifles in addition to battle gear as well as three four-wheel drive vehicles a ministry statement said. The arrested were Libyans it indicated.Meanwhile the army said it eliminated an Algerian terrorist eastern the capital and another one on the west as well as arresting two more.The operations are part of the country's overall scheme to combat terrorism and arms smuggling.
