Transportation disrupted in Turkey due to bad weather

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL Dec 31 (KUNA) -- Turkish Airlines and Sea Freight companies in Istanbul and Bursa announced Thursday the suspension of many flights and voyages due to bad weather conditions.Around 200 flights were suspended today and tomorrow from and to Ataturk and Sabihas International Airports in Istanbul said the airlines in a statement.The airways urged all passengers to visit the company's official website or call customers service to check the status of their flights.Meanwhile sea freight companies in Istanbul and Bursa also cancelled a number of voyages due to blizzards and bad weather conditions.Turkey has been hit by a blizzard across the country the country which disrupted day-to-day life in many cities.
