(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH Dec 7 (KUNA) -- The Saudi cabinet session presided over by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al-Yamamah palace on Monday welcomed representatives of the Syrian moderate opposition groups to an expanded conference due in Riyadh later Tuesday.The cabinet members lauded the Kingdom's keenness on solving the Syrian crisis through political means based on the agreed-upon Geneva I declaration Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session.On Sunday the SPA cited a statement by the Saudi Foreign Ministry inviting representatives of different ethnical sectarian and political segments inside and outside Syria to the conference with a view to reaching unified vision for the post-Assad era.
