Oman Algeria sign pact on telecom postal regulations

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and the Authority for the Regulation of Post and Telecommunications of Algeria (ARPT) recently.

The MoU was signed at the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Dr Hamed bin Salim al Rawahy chief executive TRA and Dr Mohamed Toufik Bessai CEO ARPT stated a press release.

The MoU is expected to boost exchange of information and expertise in the field of telecommunications and postal sector in future. It will also strengthen cooperation in research and consultancy studies and exchange of information in relation to the approved technical standards. Possibilities of exchanging expertise in frequency spectrum management allocation of bands mechanisms of network evolution interconnection and regulatory measures are also addressed by the MoU.
