Algeria to Host Libya Neighbors Meeting


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Algeria announced today that it will host a meeting for Libya Neighboring Countries early December.

Algeria's Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel said that the meeting will discuss the latest developments regarding the political peace process for solving the Libyan crisis.

This will be the 7th session of Libya's Neighboring Countries, he said adding that it will be held in coordination with Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan Chad and Niger, and in the presence of the UN Special envoy to Libya and representatives from the African Union, and the European Union.

Messahel reaffirmed the need for continuing dialogue between the different Libyan actors for the establishment of a national unity government with broad powers to allow it meet many and varied challenges facing Libya.
