Wildfires threaten villages in Bosnia

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Firefighters and villagers were struggling Tuesday to keep raging wildfires away from homes in southern Bosnia as temperatures reach 42 Celsius (107.6 Fahrenheit), AP reported.

Since the early morning hours Tuesday, residents of Bosansko Grahovo and Bileca are fighting the flames and have requested the help of the Bosnian Army.
In Montenegro, a small firefighting plane crashed into Skadar Lake while landing on its surface to pick up water. The Interior Ministry said the pilot was unhurt.
