Minister of Islamic Affairs Meets with His Pakistani Counterpart


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, met here today with Minister of Religious Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Muhammad Yusuf.

At the outset of the meeting, Al-Sheikh welcomed the Pakistani Minister and his accompanying delegation, praising the great cooperation between the two countries in various fields and coordination of stances.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the Pakistani minister stressed that his country denounced any foreign intervention inside the Saudi territories. He added that the Pakistani Prime Minister has announced Pakistan's stand by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Pakistani Islamic Affairs Minister thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for serving Islam and Muslims in addition to providing services and expansion projects in the two holy mosques.

He added that he discussed with Al Al-Sheikh a memorandum of cooperation concerning interest of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Al Al-Sheikh has lauded the stance of the Pakistani government, people and scholars towards the Kingdom in supporting Determination Storm.
