Two dead, six hurt in Philippine chopper crash


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Two people were killed and six injured Sunday when a private helicopter crashed in the Philippines, dpa cited officials as saying.

The chopper went down in a forested area in a village in Cuenca in
Batangas province, 77 kilometres south of Manila, said provincial
government spokesman Jing Seguismundo.

The pilot and one of the passengers were killed in the crash, while
six other passengers were injured, she added.

Authorities were still determining the cause of the crash,
Seguismundo said.
