Yemeni Vice President Leaves Riyadh for Bahrain


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Vice President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Khalid bin Mahfouz Bahah left Riyadh today for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Upon his departure from King Khalid International Airport, he was accompanied by Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Riyad Yassin and Minister of Local Administration Abdulraqib Seif.

In a press statement, Dr. Bahah expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by all brothers and friends, and their stand by the side of the Yemeni people in their current crisis.

He pointed out that he will discuss with senior officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the latest developments of the situations in the Republic of Yemen.

The Yemeni Vice President and Prime Minister said that the visit will focus on reviewing the priorities of the Yemeni government in the current stage, and the role of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States in contributing to find urgent solutions to outstanding problems, notably the relief works in Yemen.
