China to invest USD32.6b in India's high-speed rail project




(MENAFN) China is currently in discussions with India to help it build the world's second-longest high speed railways with a total of USD32.6 billion, in an effort to push a bigger share of the overseas high-speed market, QNA reported.

The railroad is proposed to be developed jointly with China, home to the world's longest high-speed rail line, be set between Beijing and Guangzhou, local media reported, officials said.

The Delhi-Chennai high-speed rail corridor will see trains running at 300 kilometer per hour, covering a space of up to 1,754 kilometers, quoting senior officials at the India's Ministry of Railways.
