(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The new boat is equipped with a set of tools and rescue devices and utilities necessary for marine rescue and ambulance service.
The Ras Al Khaimah Police have added a superfast boat to its marine ambulance rescue and police fleet of vessels.
Brigadier Mohammed Al Nubi Deputy Chief Commandant of the RAK Police said the new boat is one of the fastest and most recent vessels.
“The new boat is equipped with a set of tools and rescue devices and utilities necessary for marine rescue and ambulance service.”
The boat will be patrolling all coasts and creeks of the northern emirate he added. “It will also be used in marine ambulance and rescue tasks.”
Brig Al Nubi said the RAK Police are very keen to march in pace with the latest developments in all walks of life for the benefit of all members of the society.
“The state-of-the-art machines devices vehicles and boats added to the law enforcement bodies in the emirate give a boost to security and enhance police performance.”
He toured the premises of the police’s marine ambulance and rescue office and was briefed on the procedures adopted in rescue operations.
