Kuwait- Forged credit cards


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Salwa police have arrested three Malaysians for buying goods using forged bank credit cards, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily quoting security sources said police acting on a tip-off that the suspects have entered the country on commercial visit visas issued by a hotel and that they were carrying with them 70 stolen credit cards, orders were issued to put the men under surveillance and collect information from shops they visit to buy goods - mainly expensive watches and gold jewelry. The sources added police arrested the men red-handed while they were buying jewelry and expensive watches from branded shops in Salhiya. The men were escorted to their hotel rooms and during inspection police found 70 credit cards neatly hidden among papers. The suspects have been referred to the investigation.
