Bancassurance Operations

One of the most significant changes in the financial services sector over the past few years has been the appearance and development of bancassurance. Banking institutions and insurance companies have found bancassurance to be an attractive – and often profitable- complement to their existing activities. In theory, bancassurance is a straightforward concept and easy way to add value to both banks and insurers top and bottom line. In reality, differing cultures of banks and insurers, the heavy day to day workload of bank staff, the range of products bank staff have to retail and the fact that insurance is rarely something customers actually go out to buy, make it very difficult to make bancassurance work well.

Although there have been a myriad of Bancassurance conferences that look at high Bancassurance issues on a lecture basis on a lecture basis, but very few that get to provide hands-on one-to-one involvement with an expert who can help to deal with individual issues.
