FX Trading

The turbulence in the currency markets in 2007 has been a great opportunity for all of us. But did you make the most of it? Did you get on the wrong side of it? Or perhaps you didn’t take advantage at all?

IIR’s FX Trading is a foundation course providing the intermediate level skills required to understand the foreign exchange markets.

As such, it emphasises the practical skills required for participation in the market, including an understanding of the products, their interrelationship and the ability to use and manipulate the fundamental mathematics used in the markets.

This cutting edge course is designed for:
• Dealers in markets that are deregulating
• Dealers looking to improve or broaden their dealing skills
• Middle office and operations personnel
• Ancillary specialists selling in to the industry
• Auditors and compliance officers

The course aims to test your understanding of the core products of the market place to highlight their interrelationship and to measure your ability to use and manipulate core formulae.

This course will serve as a “real-life” situation as you will work with your peers on approximately 20 FX dealing simulations that are conducted on simulation software.

You will work together on a fully simulated trading day and be evaluated on the outcomes.

Your esteemed course leader, Nicholas Weston, will provide you with an evaluation of your general knowledge through a multiple choice exam, which will be conducted at the end of the course.
