How will you benefit?
This course will take an holistic approach to all things cyber risk in the financial industry. It will start off with the basics in terms of where it all began, why it is important and why it is part and parcel of every business manager and executive’s career profile. It will take the attendees through the Principles of Cyber Risk, ways of measuring the risk and mitigating it, understand the key elements of cyber risk in today’s 3rd Platform domain (Cloud, BYOD, mobility, virtualisation) and how to respond to incidents and maintain a robust cyber defence. It will then go into detail on specific areas that every Manager and Executive will have to deal with, not least privacy, use of personal information, UK law on cyber, organised crime and the Insider Threat.
The attendee will finish the course aware of the basics of management of cyber risk and be equipped to handle the unknown future. They will come away understanding that Cyber Risk Management, Cyber Security and Information Assurance are not specialities to be delegated but essential business skills that not only protects the business but are significant in generating revenue and creating new business.
