2018 budget approved by UAE's aviation authority


(MENAFN) The GCAA budget for the year 2018 has been approved by UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Board of Directors; they reviewed as well the financial statements for the third quarter (Q3) of 2017.

The Board also addressed a range of topics including measures to ensure the safety of UAE airports and airspace in preparation for the winter fog during the 5th meeting held under the chairmanship of Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and chairman of GCAA, the official Emirates news agency Wam reported.

Some new initiatives also have been launched by the board including a world first helicopter application as well as the new "Edarti HUB".
