Kuwait urges for including social issues in Arab development plans


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh called on Sunday for preparing an ambitious plan to include social affairs in Arab development plans.

Al-Sabeeh, also Minister of State for Economic Affairs, told KUNA following her arrival in Tunis that her visit to the North African country was to participate in a ministerial meeting over means of including social dimensions of the 2030 sustainable development goals in social policies of the Arab countries.

She said the delegation of Kuwait would be talking about Kuwait's experience in including social affairs in development plans.

"We are looking forward to have an ambitious plan to execute the social dimensions in the development plans, as wellas determining measurement indicators to have a yearly assessment ...," Al-Sabeeh said. (end) ksj.bs
