Saudi FM, chief of HNC discuss latest developments in Syria


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 26 (KUNA) -- Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir and head of High Negotiations Committee (HNC) of the Syrian opposition Nasser Al-Hariri discussed the latest developments in the country.

The two sides focused on means of meeting aspirations of the Syrian people, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The Syrian opposition featured 140 representatives held a broad meeting in Riyadh on November 22-24, with the participation of UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

The meeting named Al-Hariri as chief who will represent the opposition's delegation in the next round of the UN-sponsored negotiations in Geneva, and three deputies. (end) mdm.hm
