Oxford Circus: two men interrogated over Tube mass panic

(MENAFN) Following an altercation that caused mass panic on Friday at a central London Tube station, police confirmed that detectives have interrogated the two men they were looking for.

After an appeal, the males, one 40 the other 21 years old, went to a police station willingly as the investigation resumes.

While running away from Oxford Circus station after claims of gunshot exchange on a Central Line platform, sixteen individuals have been wounded. However, police confirmed there was no indication of weapons being fired at the scene.

Officers are urging people who were present during the incident at Oxford Circus underground station to come forward for an inquiry.
