Speaking at a joint news conference, both ministers said they mainly discussed distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Spain, and exchanged views on major regional and international issues.

The Saudi foreign minister said they had addressed the current developments in Yemen, Syria and Lebanon, as well as the fight against terrorism, while hailing close cooperation between both sides.

On Lebanon, Al-Jubeir said Saudi Arabia was always supportive of Lebanon and helped it in overcoming its challenges in the past.

He spoke highly of the current economic relations between both sides, pointing out that Saudi Arabia's economic plans are a good opportunity for promoting economic and investment relations. (end) hnd.mt
