Doha:The Italian Cultural Week will kick off in Doha from November 20 to 26.
Announcing the event during a press conference on Wednesday, General Manager of Katara Cultural Village Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti stressed the importance of the event, highlighting the significant cooperation
between Katara and the Italian Embassy which contributes to the creation of harmony and rapprochement between the two peoples, and the promotion of dialogue and communication through culture.
Al Sulaiti noted that the Arab and the Italian cultures share a unique historical fusion.
For his part, HE Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Qatar Pasquale Salzano said that Katara is the right place to introduce the Italian culture, in particular the Italian cuisine with all its flavors.
HE the Ambassador noted that the Italian Cultural Week will present the rich Italian culture through a number of fine Italian arts, costumes and dishes, in addition to a seminar on the Italian healthy diet.
Katara will also host the most famous Italian chefs who will present the most important secrets of the delicious pizza dish.
The Italian Cultural Week will include several activities that will be organized in different areas in the country.
