(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Nov. 14 ( Petra)-Saudi ambassador to Jordan Prince Khaled Ben Faisal on Tuesday met speakers of Senate, Faisal Fayez, and Parliament, Atef Tarawneh.
During talks, Fayez and Tarwaneh underscored Saudi Arabia's role in financing development enterprises across the country with direct engagement of Saudi Development Fund, adding this Saudi effort helps solve Jordan's concerns.
They also lauded principled stances of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Ben Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince Mohammed Ben Salman.
The Saudi envoy, on his part, stressed need to foster mutual cooperation amidst the region's current circumstances.
The Prince also underscored significance of sustaining joint efforts to fight terrorism and extremism , saying " raising citizens' awareness is crucial to renounce radical and fundamentalist ideas that sabotage stability and security in our societies".
