Kuwait granted Jordan USD1.2b as part of GCC grant

(MENAFN) Kuwait has granted a sum of USD 1.2 billion as part of the GCC grant, contributing to first priority development projects in Jordan within the upcoming five years.

The Kuwaiti contribution helped the Jordanian authorities to execute some vital projects in the country in spite of the political and security instabilities in the region amid the Syrian crisis.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury lauded the outstanding support provided by the State of Kuwait to his country, speaking to KUNA on the Kuwaiti contributions.
