Syrian regime killed 5 in Damascus suburb


(MENAFN) Five civilians were killed in the besieged Eastern Ghouta district in Damascus on Tuesday after the Syrian regime bomb shelled the suburb, according to civil-defense teams also known as the White Helmets.

A press officer for Eastern Ghouta's White Helmets named Abu Yamin told Anadolu Agency that Assad regime forces had targeted Eastern Ghouta's town of Sakba with two separate artillery barrages.

"A total of five civilians, including two women and two children, were killed in the attacks", Abu Yamin, using an alias to protect his identity, said.
