Kuwaiti oil price up USD 1.78 to stand at USD 59.48 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up USD 1.78 and settled at USD 59.48 per barrel, compared to USD 57.70 per barrel since last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Tuesday.

In world markets, crude oil prices were up yesterday (Monday) after reports on expectations regarding oil producing countries decrease to oil production in the upcoming meeting at the end of this month.

Long futures contracts were up with crude price Brent mixed up 37 cents to stand at USD 62.45 while the US crude Western Texas oil was also up 20 cents to settle at USD 55.80 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
