Lebanese Patriarch to visit Saudi Arabia for the first time
(MENAFN) The Head of the Council of Catholic Patriarchs of the East, Lebanese Patriarch, Beshara al- Ra'i, will visit Saudi Arabia as announced by Saudi Minister of State for Gulf Affairs, Thamer al-Sabhan.
"The visit of Patriarch Bishara al-Ra'i to the Kingdom affirms the Kingdom's approach to understanding, openness and peaceful coexistence with all the constituents of the Arab peoples," Sabhan said on Friday.
The visit is expected in the next few weeks, whereas it confirms the openness of the Kingdom, Al-Sabhan stressed.
