Qatar- Licensing private schools: Education Ministry issues guide

Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued the guide of the conditions and procedures for licensing private schools in the State of Qatar. It includes all the information required to apply for private school licenses.
The application for the licence begins today and continues until December 31. Director of Private Schools Licensing Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Hamad Al Ghali said that the guide aims to provide all the necessary information for those wishing to obtain private school licenses to start applying for the license requests, which is available on the Ministry's website to make it easier for applicants.
The issuance of a guide to the conditions and procedures for licensing private schools aims to standardize the procedures and requirements for obtaining a special school license, clarify the duties and responsibilities of the competent departments of the ministry towards the applicant, clarify the duties and responsibilities of the license applicant and raise awareness of the requirements and procedures for obtaining a special school license. Meanwhile, the Ministry honoured the first batch of advanced professional licensees that included 76 male and female coordinators from 38 schools.
During the ceremony, Director of Teachers Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Ahmed Jumaa Jassimani, highlighted the strategic dimension of the professional licensing initiative and its relation to the vision and mission of the ministry emanating from Qatar National Vision 2030.
He pointed out that those who obtained the professional license, obtained it in accordance with the procedures of its system that contributes to developing teachers and school leaders, which aims to improve the quality of education in the State of Qatar.
